　　1.abandon为新课标的重要词汇。常与介词to搭配，其中abandon oneself to sth.表示陷入，沉湎于某种感情要特别重视；另外abandon本身与desert及give up等相近词汇的辨析也是掌握的重点；2010年有可能考到相近词的比较.

　　2.aware为新课标重点词汇。通常考查其固定搭配，如be/become aware of对---制度，明白；意识到；as far as I'm aware of对---制度，明白，意识到；as far as I'm aware=as far as I know据我所知；2010年很可能考到.

　　3.ahead的相关短语是高考的高频短语；往往考查ahead of提前，优于的意思；go ahead短语，近几年在交际用语中考查较多；2006全国卷I，天津卷；2007全国卷II、重庆卷，天津卷，又对它进行了考查；2010年仍会考查它的交际用语以及go短语的比较.

　　4.动名词的复合结构在英语考查中经常出现，在句中可以作主语、宾语、表语。其中的逻辑主语在某些情况下要用名词的普通格和人称代词宾格。在考试中要分清楚.
