选词填空：高考英语新题型应对方略

什么是选题填空题？
选词填空就是给考生一篇短文，从中挖出十个词，形成十处空。在短文上方有一个方框，方框中有至少有十个词。要求考生根据文章意思，把方块中适当的词填入空白。和完型填空一样选词填空的理论依据是格式塔心理学(Gelstalt psychology) 又称补全心理，即当人们看到一幅残缺画面时，会下意识地在心目中将画面中的缺损部分补齐，视其为一幅完整的画面。这种题型类似于过去的完形填空，两者的异同如下：
相同点：都要求考生对文章内容有整体上的把握依靠上下文含义和逻辑做题
不同点：
1) 完形填空是四个词中选一个，主要考察词语之间的辨析。而方块选词填空是从一些词当中，可能是十二个中选取十个，分别填入空白，主要考察对单个词在不同语境中含义的掌握。
2) 选词填空要判断词性，而完型填空不用判断词性，4个待选项词性基本一致。

1、选词填空的特点
1) 文章不会太长(240－300词)；一般来说第一句是文章主题句并且不设空；一般每隔15－30个词会有一个空；空与空之间有完整意群。
2) 方框中词汇难度不高，文章难度要略低于阅读理解难度。
