针对2009年名校自主招生测试，上外附中英语高级教师胡迦为考生出了两道作文题。其中一题是书信形式。胡老师指出，上海交通大学在冬令营测试中，曾经有过三次以英语书信的形式出作文题，因此书信类型的题目考生必须加以重视。胡迦老师同时建议考生，一旦遇到书信类作文，要注意书信的规范格式。

胡迦老师出的第二道题目是对“公布学生成绩”这一校园现象的阐释，胡老师表示，出这道题目是考虑到该现象与学生的读书生活、自我成长意识息息相关，因此有必要让学生了解并进行适当准备。
